PhARF (Phadia Allergy Research Forum) was established in 1987 to honor the 20th anniversary of the discovery of IgE at Uppsala University, the immunoglobulin that causes classic allergic diseases like asthma, hay fever, eczema and anaphylactic shock. PhARF is sponsored by Phadia, the world-leading company in the field of in vitro allergy diagnostics. The Scientific Committee of PhARF (consisting of the Presidents of EAACI, AAAAI and WAO) has now chosen 4 final candidates for the PhARF Award 2011. Who the winner is will be revealed at the Award Ceremony Monday 13 June at the EAACI congress in Istanbul.
