The 30th EAACI Congress in Istanbul commenced on Saturday 11 June 2011 with almost 8,000 registered participants from all over the world and a panel of 464 speakers. The congress opened with an Opening Ceremony during which EAACI President Prof. Jan Lotvall presented the EAACI Noon Award, one of the initiatives developed by the Academy to celebrate 100 years of Immunotherapy.
